Review of The Celestine Prophecy (2006) by Jenn T — 27 Nov 2007
I read the book back in the 90's when it first came out.
At that time I pretty much dismissed the entire thing as the perfect example of cognitive biases, i.e. illusory correlation.
But in retrospect, I realize that I have concluded that it's better to live life in a giving fashion, and have done so for most of this time. So although I reject the fanciful premises of the new age doctrine, it is worthwhile entertainment as a feel-good inspirational exercise.
