Review of The Celestine Prophecy (2006) by Niall S — 16 Aug 2008
A terrible adventure/mystery film (based on a book that is apparently best-selling, but that I've never heard of) that I can only assume was rushed into production to capitalise of "The Da Vinci Code"'s popular blend of adventure, ancient conspiracies and questionable theology.
This film takes these various elements, combines it with a hokey script, wooden acting and awful pacing to form what is frankly an affront to the medium.
