Review of The Caveman's Valentine (2001) by Daniel B — 27 Aug 2007
Sam Jackson almost overpowers this "fisher King"-esque murder mystery thriller. His portrayal of a homeless schizophrenic is one of the better performances of his career, and almost overwhelms this otherwise mundane movie.
One of the saving graces other than Sam's performance is the visual inventiveness of the "angels in his head". Overall, some nice stuff.
