If you're like me and have a thing for monster movies, than this movie is REALLY going to annoy you. Why? Because it's got some very cool monster designs- courtesy of Patrick Tatopoulos- and wonderful set designs, but it's an awful movie.
There may be two characters in the whole movie that have any kind of emotional range at all and it's extremely derivative of Alien, The Thing and The Decent. And it was a HUGE mistake to rate this film PG-13 with how potentially intense some of the events could have been.
In effect, it makes the film feel rather cheesy- and not in a good way like Tremors or Gremlins with how seriously this film takes itself.
