Review of The Cat (1966) by Michael W — 19 Jul 2013
Boy lost in the wilderness is protected by a friendly mountain lion from a cattle rustler. Drags for a long stretch during a fruitless search for the child. I felt equally concerned with the fate of the cat as the child.
Made at a time when a child was meant to be 'seen and not heard'; society's mores have changed drastically since this one was released.
