Review of The Castle (1997) by Samantha B — 19 Feb 2008
Part of my Australian movie binge...funny, charming. I liked it though it times it was a little too close to "laughing at" rather than "laughing with." In the end though you couldn't help but cheer for the family and their home.
Oh, not at all clear why it's rated R. There are one or two bouts of swearing, "fuck this, fuck that" directed at a photocopier, but that's it. No violence.
