Review of The Case for Christ (2017) by Jeff J — 05 Jan 2018
Compelling, well done!
As a Christian who cares much more about truth than man made religion, I have to be honest: I balk at most "Christian" movies. This one is different, largely, I think, because it is actually based on a true story, not an invention from someone's religious brain. I love that it (like the real story of Lee Strobel) isn't afraid to ask the hard questions.
Obviously, there is much, much more to the field of Christian apologetics than what is presented in this drama, but it presents enough to give a believer or skeptic some things to think about and delve more into on their own. Good material, good story line, good direction, and mostly good acting. Most Pure Flix movies in all honesty have made me gag, but they did a great job on this one.
