Review of The Case for Christ (2017) by Scraper — 01 Dec 2017
It's easy for Christians to belittle atheists and agnostics. Being godless is easily preached as a sad position. I wonder if Strobel had been Hindu or Muslim and his wife's goal was to forcibly teach him that those religions are ignorant dead-ends.
Christians are basically bullies opportunistically indoctrinating the weak. The 12 step program being a prime example. All the same, The Case for Christ chooses to focus on the rescue mission and the lovely light it's capable of shining upon those who seek it instead of the less attractive eternal hellfire it assures has come or will come to the vast majority of the people who have existed throughout history - people, who on average, are no better or worse than those journeying to heaven but simply don't see it.
