Review of The Cardinal (1963) by Scott R — 09 Aug 2013
This film tells about the life of a cardinal I the catholic church. It shows how existential identity crises can happen to the best of us even church leaders. I identified with the those themes, and the main character found purpose in his work in confronting social wrongs such as racism in USA and nazism in Austria.
I enjoyed the beautiful cinematography, color and traveling to renowned catholic sites, especially stephansdom in Vienna. The dogma questions also engaged.
