Review of The Captains (2011) by Andrew K — 28 Mar 2012
Even for the viewer without much exposure or connection to the world of Star Trek, like myself, this film is a treasured way to spend an hour and a half. What a wonderfully beautiful look at the phenomenon of a franchise and the energy that made it possible, from the perspectives of these leaders of the casts of each of it's incarnations.
This film was an unexpected pleasure and should be required viewing for anyone interested in understanding these series and films. I can not think of a better way to begin my planned journey through these series for the first time.
