Review of The Captains (2011) by Jon T — 29 Apr 2012
Shatner is not always the best interviewer. He does not always know when to shut up and let the subjects speak. Avery Brooks is either a total space cadet or he was simply trying to scare Shatner off with his apparent insanity.
Either way, with his jazzy nonsense and Shatner being Shatner those sequences are almost impossible to watch. I skipped over some of them. Patrick Stewart has some great moments with him and Scott Bakula seems like a very comfortable, down to earth guy and I liked his bits the best.
