Review of The Candy Snatchers (1973) by Leslie D — 01 Sep 2010

While it isn't a great movie, it does have many strange things going for it that I liked. Each character seemed like they were playing exaggerated versions of their character to the point where they seemed like they could be seen as bad actors.

Candy's father reminded me a lot of a character Dave Foley played on the Kids in the Hall. The parents of the kid who finds Candy are so angry all the time, without any reasoning behind it. It was pretty funny.

All in all, I'd say give this one a try.
