While it is funny thanks to its interesting idea, laugh out loud lines and quotes of dialogue, a hilarious cast headed by Will Ferrell and Zach Galifianakis, great directing by Jay Roach and its short but okay pace and flow, The Campaign ultimately suffers from a bad script even though it has potential to be a funnier movie than what it looks like.
