Review of The Campaign (2012) by Scott W — 12 Sep 2014
Two very funny people made a pretty unfunny movie. There are a few laughs here, but not nearly enough to make up for the pretty dumb plot. If they were going to make a more effective satire, I think they needed to play it closer to reality - making it more far-fetched like the campaign ads or the punching a baby and a dog, all that stuff fell flat.
I will give them props for having a character named Tim Watley though (Seinfeld reference).
