Review of The Cameraman (1928) by Stella D — 30 Aug 2011
The Cameraman is both a terrific comedy and a very touching love story where Keaton tries his best to impress the girl he wants, almost as big as Chaplin's City Lights. Buster Keaton could survive this first attempt by MGM against his creativity and the final result is a masterpiece.
The scene in the dressing room is hilarious, the monkey's mischiefs add the film excitement and suspense.
