Not bad, not bad at all. Does a good job of building and maintaining suspense. Fine job by Halle Berry and an even better performance by Abby Breslin, who does a great job even though she spends much of the movie in confined quarters.
Some may not like how the end (or the last act I should say) comes about but it works for me. There are some elements of Silence of the Lambs in here but, don't misunderstand, The Call isn't in the same league as SOTL.
Still, I give it a marginal thumbs up.
