Review of The Call (2013) by Paul B — 18 Oct 2013

Solid, silly and entertaining enough thriller, although the killer is pretty stupid not to check if the girl has a mobile in the first place. Halle Berry and Abigail Breslin put in decent performances and is it one of the movies that has you shouting at the screen for protagonists to kick the bad-guys ass so it delivers in that respect.

It's your typical kidnap by numbers affair although for a moment I thought it was going to throw us a curve a ball at the end but it just left it open for a sequel which probably won't be made.
