Review of The Cake Eaters (2007) by Monica F — 05 Apr 2009

Well, the fact is that, even though the movie has a heart-touching topic, I wont remember this movie beyond today. I think there was not really a good emotional development here. I mean, all it really was for me was the story of how a girl loses her virginity because she does not know when she is going to die.

I usually would have been very touched by something like this, except for the fact that the movie did not convey the right feelings on the characters or on me. Maybe it was to "down to business".
