Review of The Cake Eaters (2007) by Daniel E — 18 Apr 2009
Pretty average film, which is too bad, since I really like Mary Stuart Masterson. Some really great acting, but some seemingly forced dialogue too. Not a fan of the ending either. It was a slower moving film, but I thought it suited the story really well.
As a whole, I feel like it just missed the mark though. But I would still recommend it. There are some good emotional scenes too.
