Review of The Cake Eaters (2007) by Jennifer W — 11 May 2009

I was so excited to watch this movie because Kristen Stewart was in it, she has recently became one of my favorite actors. Kristen acted very well in this film; but the movie was poorly written. I was very disappointing; right when I started getting into the movie the credits started rolling, I couldn't believe the movie was over at this point.

This movie was definitely half written. The writer had a brilliant idea that kept me interested, then it just got constipated towards the end, and they couldn't shit the rest out. I don't know how the movie made it to DVD, its worse than a TV movie.

but once again going beyond the script of the movie, Kristen's acting skills especially in this film, blew me away, she is an amazing actor, not only did she capture a disabled girl perfectly, she carried this entire movie with her skill.

if it wasn't for her acting in this movie, I don't think it would have been successful whatsoever.
