Review of The Caine Mutiny (1954) by Charlie R — 02 Apr 2008
The finest, most understated performance of Bogie's career. MacMurray has never been a bigger rat. Dmytryk's direction is first rate. With films like this, Crossfire, and The Young Lions (among others), it is a shame that he has not been better remembered better for his films of the effects of war on men and society.
