Review of The Caine Mutiny (1954) by Joshua R — 05 Jun 2009
Humphrey Bogart takes on the role as Lt. Commander Queeg, (and he plays the role perfectly), as the skipper of the minesweeper Caine, who, when involuntarily relieved of his command during a violent typhoon, brings his officers up on charges for conspiring a mutiny.
To my mind this movie was really well made, as we consider the time it was produced. Perhaps in our day with more developed techniques it could perhaps be made better.
