Review of The Cable Guy (1996) by Chris V — 24 Sep 2012
Another one of those films that I never saw properly all the way through that can be crossed of the to do list. A classic Jim Carrey performance not different from roles that created funny viewings like Ace Ventura or The Mask and this one does not fall too far below the mark.
Matthew Broderick is weak in my opinion and there are quite a lot of comedic faces that are in it before they reached the height of their fame and therefore don't add much to the table. But being a Jim Carrey fan (of his old films bear in mind as most of his latest stuff is garbage), this one was good to finally see.
