Review of The Cable Guy (1996) by Tiger S — 10 Apr 2012
J.C. plays a parallel character to " Angie Baby" from the old 70's hit by helen Reddy, in this slightly dark Ben Stiller directed comedy. The idea is good, Carrey is excellent, blending quirky and unsettling nicely.
It makes a change from the formulaic comedies usually vacuum packed for mass consumption. In other news, Matthew Broderick plays Matthew Broderick, AGAIN!
