Review of The Cable Guy (1996) by Ryan C — 21 Apr 2012
Very funny movie the story of a psyco guy who thinks hes a cable man with names from all sorts of shows made it very funny and a ridiculously original idea and there story was really well done and stiller did a great job in directing this the screenplay was great the story was great and the laughter never stopped and the action scenes were actually good and made you stay tuned the acting was good at some levels and iffy at others carrey was great as the cable guy and really had the right personality for the part broderick was ok but really didnt sell his role to well so it was hard to get into his role jack black was ok as the friend but didnt have to much of a big part and leslie mann was good as the exgirlfriend and did her role well but a must see comedy classic and if you like funny action kind of movies this is definatly a must own.
