Review of The Cable Guy (1996) by Andrew L — 10 Dec 2013
It's a bit weird but enjoyable. It's nice to see Jim Carrey try for the darker style of comedy instead of his usual family friendly material. Matthew Broderick provides some good follow up and the two make a good connection.
The story writing has some flaws but there's nothing overly bad to saturate the film. It's not as good as some of his others but it well made. It has a really good soundtrack to boot.
