Review of The Cable Guy (1996) by John C — 06 Sep 2015

Whilst the 'Cable Guy' doesn't quite live up to Carrey's very best efforts (namely Ace Ventura), it does provide viewers with a classic showcasing of his comic ability. The storyline is certainly unique, depicting a particularly creepy, allbeit lonely cable guy who forms a very one sided friendship with a client.

The story then takes a more familiar route, as Chip's interesting behavior comes to light, and the inevitable consequences unravel. All in all, an enjoyable and amusing comedy that I would recommend.
