One of the most underrated movies of all time in my opinion.the performances from both leads is phenomenal.i dont think most people realise how dark this movie is,if you take away the jokes this movie would be very bleak maybe scary and possibly even disturbing in fact.

this is one of carreys finest performances without question. maybe he does come off as quite silly at times but that enhances his characters damaged psychological state.thanks to carrey,one of the greatest characters in movie history was born.
