The Cabin in the Woods is a fantastic deconstruction of the typical horror film. It combines horror and comedy to create one fantastically original experience. Drew Goddard's directorial debut navigates an especially difficult script.
He switches tones between horror and comedy so seamlessly that there is nothing to do but sit back and enjoy a ride created by someone who fully embraces and loves the genre.
