The Cabin in the Woods writer director Drew Goddard has all of the horror cliches intact; the creepy setting, the stereotypical characters, the over-the-top gore and the diabolical villains, but he fails to do anything with them, and the result is a dull, sloppy, incoherent montage of every known horror cliche that will likely bore even the most devoted horror buffs.
