The Cabin in the Woods is another one of those films that suffered from a wrong marketing campaign that sold a film to the public, and that when watching it, found another one. The average public doesn't know how to differentiate terror from suspense, trash from slash, authorial parody film, as is the case with this one.

The Cabin in The Woods is a SATIRE from the horror films of the 80s and 90s, it should not be seen as a serious film at any time, this is completely expressed right at the beginning of the film. It's a film that, when understood it's proposal, guarantees a good uncompromised fun, but if you go to watch with the wrong idea about what the film is, thinking that it will be more a serious macabre terror, of course you will not like it.
