I think most of us horror fans judge newer scare-flicks the same way.. with lines like "well, it's not the worst horror movie I've seen recently." That about sums up The Bye Bye Man..
. I've seen worse, I've seen better. It's moderately entertaining, but ultimately forgettable and the fabricated visuals fluctuate from "fine" to "that was clearly fake" throughout.
Oh... and definitely don't go in looking for a story, because there's only a thread of one here.
