The Bye-Bye Man... That is the DUMBEST name I have ever heard. I don't care how scary looking he is, I can not get past that name. I know what they were trying to do, use childhood innocence in a creepy setting and sometimes that works like with a killer doll or a lullaby being sung in a dark hallway but their is a certain place were you need to stop and baby words like bye-bye is that place that crosses the line.
It's not scary, it's silly.
