This was my favorite of all the eight horrorfest movies of the year. Unfortunately this years lineup of movies wasn't very good and I really hope they improve things next year. That being said the Butterfly Effect movies each tell a different story.
This keeps things from getting stale and makes each movie seem different. This one was better than the second and a little worse than the first. The order you see these in doesn't matter and if you liked the original you might as well skip the second and see Revelation.
