I think most people went in hating Kutcher, and maybe missed a nicely done Greek tragedy. The futility is very rich and overwhelming, but that's what I like sometimes in a movie. I guess cuz I've felt that way at a young age.
It may be maudlin tripe, but thats what seemed real to me in high school and college.
