Review of The Butterfly Effect (2004) by Lucas H — 20 Aug 2011
In my opinion, Ashton tried harder in this film to actually show he can act more than any other movie he's been in, other than maybe "The Guardian." Amy Smart in this movie is what Blake Lively was in The Town: the pretty blonde girl doomed to ruin the life of the protagonist.
Overall, it's a decent popcorn flick if you're into psycho-thrillers. I'd definitely recommend watching more movies with other, less unintentional-laugh-inducing alums from That 70s Show..
. Topher Grace, for instance. That dude is sooo underrated.
