Review of The Butterfly Effect (2004) by Krishna C — 18 Jul 2012
"A flap of a butterfly's winds can cause a ripple through time". Thats what Butterfly effect means in science. Its what this movie is all about. The premise is quite captivating, its a serious movie with with some scenes which may be hard to watch for some.
Aston Kucher as Evan the main character the movie revolves around is an amnesiac in his childhood, he keeps forgetting pieces of information about his daily life after facing some untold trauma in his childhood.
He keeps a note of this in a journal. From here the story slowly unfurls itself to reveal his grizzly past while the skipping in his mind is explained later on. The ending is brilliant and keeps you thinking about this movie way after it has ended.
An excellent movie.
