Review of The Butterfly Effect (2004) by Kurt F — 10 Aug 2013

8/1/13 I know that this film wasn't well received by the critics, but I thought it was quite good. Sure it may not all fit together perfectly, but the premise is unique and the plot moves along at a brisk pace.

I'm guessing that some viewers had a problem with the inconsistency of him going back in time to change things (certain events CANNOT happen the way they do in the movie). He changes one event to fix one problem, then goes back and changes that event again, but the original problem is still fixed, even though it is no longer possible for the original fix to have happened.

Anyway, they took some liberties to make it convenient for the story. This doesn't mean it isn't an interesting story though.
