Review of The Butterfly Effect (2004) by John A — 20 Feb 2014
Full of interesting ideas played over a good story arc, but spoilted by the bizarre nastiness of most scenes. I couldn't decide if they were blackly comic or just plain unpleasant. Made me appreciate just how good Stephen Fry's time travel novel 'Making History' is.
If the screenplay of The Butterfly Effect could have been written with half the skill of Stephen Fry it would have been twice as good as it was.
