Just saw this on DVD and was really gripped all the way through. Loved the changing relationships between Kutcher, Smart, etc as events are revised. Not sure why this has been rated as such a stinker. Perhaps the lack of a Hollywood ending is just too dark for the mainstream? It was the Director's Cut version though, so maybe the theatrical release was very different?
