Review of The Butterfly Effect (2004) by Arjun N — 18 May 2016
It's mondo weird. It's also a solid thriller, not a good thriller but a solid one. I feel like in a better Director hands like David Fincher it could of been a better film. On the other hand it's the best ashton k film, but that's not really saying too much.
Camera angles and lighting are fine. The film problem come down the the end getting alittle too out there with cgi hands and the cancer. Not only are the effects look terrible but you could of found a more of a fitting way in tone and in style of the film.
Felt extremely force and lazy. If you enjoy weird thrillers I'm sure you would like it.
