Review of The Butterfly Effect (2004) by Daniël B — 03 May 2011
An interesting and compelling work of, actually a level of art. This is one of the most underrated films ever and pretty unkown if you ask me. I don't understand why this is at 33%. It should be in the 70% or 80% range.
Really, its that good. It is extremely entertaining, it can accurately tell you a story, and although some of the aspects to it are just outrageous and yes, stupid (I will admit), this is an intersting and just plain awesome film.
Ashton Kutcher gives a good performance and I am a Kutcher supporter, and Logan lerman gave an excellent performance as the young Ashton. Most of the other performances aren't exactly up to par, but it makes up for it.
So if your a time travel fan (like me) I would highly reccommed you see it. It really is that good.
