Review of The Butterfly Effect (2004) by Rowan C — 22 Jun 2011
The last time I saw this film was a couple of months ago so forgive the brief review.
But from what I remember I'm always captured by the first scene and my eyes are glued to the screen for the next two hours.
This is a highly under-rated film by critics and I actually like Ashton Kutcher in this film.
The premise is brilliant and I don't know what people are talking about when they say this film has flaws, because I'm a huge film fan then this MUST be the only film where I can't see the flaws.
The acting is above average. The directing is good. Script is brilliant. Emotional atmosphere is stunning and shocking.
Always by the end of this movie, theatrical or director's cut I am in tears.
A brilliant movie that leaves me speechless every time I see it and will the next.
