Review of The Butterfly Effect (2004) by Paul R — 29 Mar 2014
I remember being hugely impressed the first time I watched The Butterfly Effect. For the uninitiated you may think that with Aston Kutcher in the lead role that it instantly means this is one to miss..
. not so... this is his greatest role. He plays a young man who has always struggled with blackouts. Parts of his life - with no memory. In a bizarre twist, when he attempts to access sublimated childhood memories he finds a technique that allows him to travel back into the past, to occupy his childhood body and change history.
However, he soon finds that every change he makes has unexpected consequences. This psychological Thriller packs a real punch and really lends itself to repeat viewings.
