Review of The Butler (2013) by Andres V — 12 Jan 2014
I found this movie to ok. Once you have seen other movies about black slavery and oppression it's the same story. Ultimately, it was all about Barrack Obama becoming the first black president. That is what ruined the movie for me.
Barrack did not grow up in America. He may have been born in Hawaii one year after Hawaii became a state, but his most influential years as a boy was in Kenya. He's not a true American and he cannot claim that he knows anything about black oppression just because he's black.
I believe Obama is the worst thing that has happened to this country in a long time. And a movie that's puts the spot light on him like he's some saint is completely wrong. If you have bought into his lies then you might like this movie.
