This was a fairly decent biopic, despite the true story elements being somewhat embelished. It covers an important period in American history as seen through the eyes of one butler who served through the terms of 5 presidents.
It doesn't quite have the powerful and emotional impact as other movies that have covered the same time period but it is still a worthy effort and Forest Whitaker does a great job in the central role.
