Review of The Butler (2013) by Dario R — 10 Nov 2014
Pretty good film that had the potential to be a best picture nominee, but it couldn't quite cut it. The film felt rushed to me, it skimmed over major social issues to forward the movie along. That's not to say what they did show wasn't good, it's just the pacing of it felt rushed.
Very good performances by the entire cast with Forest Whitaker shining the most (great actor). Recommend the film.
