Not what I expected. I imagined it was going to be a black version of Forrest Gump. Yes, they used a similar track but with a lot less, no, let me correct that, with no humor. It's all about the civil rights struggle.
I could point out all the historical inconsistencies (... Jackie Kennedy HATED Martin Luther King, Jr.) but this movie isn't biographical. I left the show depressed because there were so many more bad people in America, then good.
Not very uplifting.
