Review of The Butler (2013) by John G — 11 Mar 2015
This film really brought me into the topic of racism and civil rights.
I was really heartbroken and angry. It sparked something inside of me that made me want to stop racism. They actually killed Blacks?! They call Blacks rude and hurtful words and names and they don't even care. They don't know the scars they put on when they say and do those.
The Butler is a very heartbreaking film. Just in the beginning, the protagonist watches a white guy shoot his dad when was just going to ask what he did to someone. The Butler is a film that opens the true heart of civil rights.
Overall Rating: 10!
