Review of The Business of Strangers (2001) by Wendy S — 15 Mar 2008
Opens with enough chill and sterility (Stockard Channing adrift in foyers and terminals) to remind one, hesitatingly, of Kubrick. The script dallies with a great set-up, then loses its legs midway, drunk on its own heady mix of feminist politics.
Drab.
